No administrative fee is added to the listed prices, but a license from the Norwegian Athletics Federation is required in addition. If you have already purchased an annual license, please provide your license number. If you do not have an annual license, you must select a one-time license during registration.

Registration, Cancellation and Refunds
Registration for Bergen City Marathon is binding, and the entry fee is non-refundable.
Participants may only take part in the race if the registration form is completed correctly and truthfully, the entry fee has been paid, and the participant has accepted the general terms and conditions.

Runners participating in the marathon, half marathon or 5 km may resell or transfer their bib number to another runner.
Bib transfers are permitted until April 17, 2026.
Bib numbers can only be transferred through our registration system.

Force Majeure / Postponement / Cancellation
If the event is cancelled before race day, the organizer may retain 50% of the entry fee to cover expenses.

If the event must be postponed to a new date, participants who were registered for the original date but cannot attend the new date are not entitled to a refund of any part of the entry fee.

If the event is cancelled due to sudden weather or climate conditions, or other force majeure circumstances, the organizer will retain the entry fee.

Email Addresses
By registering for Bergen City Marathon, you agree to receive information about the race and other races organized by TIF Viking.
If you do not wish to receive this information, you may click the “unsubscribe” link in our newsletter.

Personal Data
The organizer will store participants’ personal data in a database.
By participating in the race, you give the organizer permission to use your personal data to send information about the event.

The organizer will not share personal data with third parties for the purpose of sending information to participants.

By registering, participants give the organizer permission to publish their name and results in newspapers and online.

Photo Rights
On the race website and in printed materials, the organizer may use photos from the event.
If you do not wish your image to be used, you must inform us by sending an email to post@bergencitymarathon.no.
Please include your name and bib number, and we will ensure that your images are not used.

Medical Card
Participants are required to complete the medical card on the back of their bib number.

Maximum Race Times
To allow traffic to reopen along the course, participants must cross the finish line within a certain time limit.
Participants finishing after the maximum time will not be included in the official results.

The following maximum times apply:

Half Marathon: 4:00 hours
Marathon: 5:30 hours
